Cockroach Treatments
In the South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales corridor of Australia the climate is notoriously warm and humid, that is an ideal environment for cockroaches to live and breed. The most common type of Cockroaches in our area are:
- German Cockroach
- Australian Cockroach
- Brown Banded Cockroach
Unlike a lot of General Pests the Cockroach is well known for the spreading of disease. It is believed that the Cockroach harbours a wide variety of viruses and bacteria, putting humans at risk of exposure to Salmonella, Gastro-Enteritis and allergic reactions. Cockroaches are scavengers that eat virtually anything including rotting garbage. The main locations that Cockroaches frequent in households are kitchens and food preparation areas, where they vomit and defecate on food items.
Based on the information given Wolfpack Pest Management are closely monitoring the progression of new technologies to fight against Cockroach infestations. It is alarming to realise that a female cockroach can carry between 40 (Australian Cockroach) to 400 (German Cockroach) offspring in eight egg cases in a lifetime of approximately one year. The Team at Wolfpack Pest Management are happy to disclose we are a leader in the industry of cockroach eradication and strongly recommend that home owners get there houses treated regularly to prevent health risks, and that business owners do the same to adhere to stringent health regulation policies.
